Vegan🌱Homemade Tomato Pizza
【Vegan🌱Homemade Tomato Pizza】
For the last few days, I wanted to support for all people who have/had experienced anything related to racism. So I decided to not post anything personal, but "Black Lives Matter" on both Instagram and Twitter.
But I'm back here now!
Please just keep in mind that this doesn't mean I don't suppprt them anymore, at all! I still continue fighting against any discriminations that have been happening for a long time, and that must end!
Racism, sexism, speciesism....
All Lives Matter!
It's the same as Animals, of course!
Animals are sentient beings who can feel pain, fear, excitement and everything human beings have! We can't just kill them for human to enjoy their flesh. Also there's no humane way to kill animals.
So I'm sharing vegan food and nutritional information here on my blog so that non-vegans may be able to know how tasty vegan foods are and hopefully they may shift to vegan eventually.
Today, I'm shraing homemade vegan pizza that I made by improvisation the other day. It turned out really good. And this is now my go-to recipe for pizza!
To make pizza dough,
You don't need yeast!!!
I'm not kidding :)
All you need is:
- whole wheat flour
- tapioca flour
- salt
- olive oil
- water
Tapioca flour gives it a little elastic texture inside and crunchy texture outside, which I like.
After making dough, put over your tomato sauce, vegetables that you like to add and vegan cheese :)
This pesto sauce recipe is available on my blog!
Visit the link below for the details.
Alright,
This is the recipe card for the pizza!
I hope you like as much as I do!
2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup tapioca flour
Himalayan pink salt
1/2 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup warm water
[TOMATO SAUCE]
5 tomatoes from canned whole tomato
1/4 cup tomato juice from canned whole tomato
3 garlic cloves
Himalayan pink salt
Black pepper
- Preheat oven to 400°.
- In a large bowl, put whole wheat flour, tapioca flour, olive oil and salt, then combine well.
- Pour warm water little by little and kneed until it becomes dough-like.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap.
- Let it sit aside for 30 minutes.
- [TOMATO SAUCE]
- In a blender put all ingredients for the sauce and process until smooth, but still chuncky a bit. Set aside.
- Form pizza dough into round shape.
- Top with tomato sauce, vegetables and vegan cheese.
- Bake for 20 minutes until the dough is cooked, cheese melts and becomes golden brown.
- Enjoy!
