Vegan Turmeric Ginger Dressing

Vegan Turmeric Ginger Dressing by piggyinkitchen

Have you tried turmeric in your homemade dresssing before? If not, this recipe is perfect for you! This turmeric dressing has somewhat earthy flavor and creamy texture with no animal products like cheese, milk or eggs.

Turmeric and ginger are the medicinal herbs that you want to add into your diet on a daily basis to improve your immune function. As their health benefits, turmeric and ginger may reduce inflammation and prevent from sickness or illness. The easiest way that I think to put them into your dish is salad dressing! Especially when it beocmes creamy, not like watery one, it is spectacular!

To make it creamy, I used

  • Cashews

Cashews are amazing! You can definitely substitute cheese and heavy cream with soaked cashew nuts. It is my favorite item to create cheesy vegan dishes from cream sauce, cream stew to gratin!

For this salad dressing recipe,
All you have to do is to put everything into a high-speed blender and process until smooth after soaking your raw cashews overnight.

Enjoy with your preferable vegetables!
Making a huge batch?
Don't worry, transfer your dressing into a clean glass jar and store in a fridge for approximately 2 weeks. (depends on the fridge temperature and cleanliness of your jar)
When your dressing thickens a bit after a few days, you can fix it by following these steps:

  1. Add some water or cashew milk little by little into your dressing.
  2. Mix together.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.

Alright,
Here is the recipe card for you!
I hope you like this dressing and find something new to your recipe collections!
