Vegan Homemade Mayo

Vegan Homemade Mayo by piggyinkitchen

I'm sharing my homemade vegan mayo that I've been posting many times on some recipe articles. I'm literally obsessed with mayo!
To make it easier for you to find this vegan mayo recipe, I thought it would be a great idea to post one article for only vegan mayo, so you all can visit back and forth as reference :)

Once you know how to make it, you will not need to rely on store-bought vegan mayo anymore!!!! ( I've never bought vegan mayo actually for myself, though I've tried some at work and when I went out. The reasons are: it's relatively expensive, most of them contain unnecessary food additives and different kinds of vegetables oil, even unhealthy ones. So I don't think is the healthiest way.)

This recipe is:

  • Vegan
  • Gluten Free
  • Sugar Free
  • Egg Free
  • Food additives Free

Ingredients are simple.

  • Cashews
  • Garlic
  • Ginger
  • Himalayan Pink Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Lemon
  • Nutritional Yeast

Methods to make is super easy!!!!
All you have to do is to blend all the ingredients in a blender until smooth!
Even cooking beginners would find it easy!
The only one important point is:

  • Soak your cashew in water for at least 12 hours (overnight)

It helps:

  • reduce anti-nutrient substances that inhibit absorbing nutrients into the body.
  • prevent from cramps, irritation, bloating and discomfort.
  • give smoothness

With this vegan mayo, you can make any kinds of vegan dishes, however you like!
