Vegan🌱Super Nutritious Chia Oat Pudding
【Vegan🌱Super Nutritious Chia Oat Pudding】
I've been making this pudding since a long time ago!
When I first looked at chia pudding that my friend was eating at school, I honestly thought "what the heck is that?!" I really want to tell "young me" that that is delicious and nutritious and you would enjoy it too!
This chia oat pudding is made of cacao powder, chia seeds, oats, maple syrup, coconut flakes, some fruits, and vegan chocolate chips. It is deicious and will boost your energy! Also it is pretty filling, so perfect for someone who is hungry a bit during daytime and crave something sweet as snack! Or it's great for quick breakfast as well!
Chia seeds are rich in protein, omega 3, fiber, magnesium, manganese and calcium. Although it's highly nutritious, there's one thing that you want to keep in your mind: chia seeds are pretty hard to digest in our intestines. So soak your chia seeds in water or plant-based milk at lease 4 hourse prior to using so that chia seeds can be easier to be digested. Due to its characteristic change from dry seeds to jelly-like form, it can be used as egg replacer for baking!
Some people feel constipation due to too much consumption of chia seeds. For instance, personally I've experienced stomach discomfort and bloating after eating chia seeds. And I have some friends having the same issues. So I'm limiting the consumption to only 1 tablespoon weekly which doesn't affect my digestive function. If that's your case, try reducing to 1 tablespoon per week. It may help you release digestive stress.
Oats are used in common breakfast in western culture and are rich in manganese, B vitamins, iron, selenium, magnesium and zinc. If you're getting tired of eating oats with plant-based milk as breakfast, try this recipe out! It will blow your mind away :)
Since oats will double in quantity when you soak in water, use enough water/plant-based milk for making this pudding. Otherwise, oats come out of water which is also tasty and I like.
To make chia oat pudding,
1 day before having this pudding, mix chia seeds, oats, a little bit of male syrup and a sufficient amount of your favorite plant-based milk in a jar. Then soak them overnight.
This one is matcha pudding topped with fresh nectarines and mangoes!
This is chocoalte and vanilla flavor with fresh peaches, black berries and nuts.
There is NO limit in flavor!
Be creative to make your own chia pudding!
